‘The Monster of Florence’ Trailer – Italy’s First Serial Killer Terrorizes a Generation in Netflix Series

Based on ongoing legal proceedings and investigations surrounding Italy’s first serial killer, “The Monster of Florence” explores 17 years of horror that terrorized an entire generation.

The four-part Italian limited series premieres October 22 on Netflix. Watch the trailer below.

Eight double murders. 17 years of terror. Always the same weapon: a .22 caliber Beretta. In Italy, a faceless serial killer sows panic, sparking one of the longest and most complex investigations ever.

In a story where there have been many possible monsters, the show focuses on their points of view — because the monster, in the end, could be anyone.

Created by writer-director Stefano Sollima (Sicario: Day of the Soldado) and writer Leonardo Fasoli (“Gomorrah”), the show is produced by Sollima, Lorenzo Mieli (Bones and All), and Gina Gardini (“Gomorrah”).

Marco Bullitta, Valentino Mannias, Francesca Olia, Liliana Bottone, Giacomo Fadda, Antonio Tintis, and Giordano Mannu star.
