Ahead of KARMA: The Dark World finally arriving on the Xbox Series tomorrow (September 10, to be exact), Wired Productions and developer Pollard Studio have dropped the customary launch trailer for the surreal sci-fi horror title. Featuring “Alive” by Geng Li, the launch trailer for the Xbox Series, takes on a different tone from the one celebrating the PC and PlayStation launch back in March, but wisely keeps the creepy aspects.
This feature-complete version of KARMA: The Dark World invites players to confront their fears and uncover hidden truths in a first-person psychological thriller that “blends gripping narrative, haunting exploration, and mind-bending twists.” The Xbox edition also adds an exclusive green camera filter in Photo and Camera Mode, giving players a chilling new lens through which to capture and experience KARMA’s unsettling atmosphere.
KARMA: The Dark World takes place in 1984 East Germany, with players taking on the role of Daniel McGovern, an elite Roam Agent working for Leviathan Corp’s Thought Bureau. Tasked with mind-diving into the memories of suspects, what begins as another routine investigation soon unravels into a dark conspiracy that challenges everything he believes. As McGovern navigates the minds of those he pursues, he must confront disturbing truths and question his own reality.
In addition to the Xbox Series, KARMA: The Dark World is also available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and the PlayStation 5.
