Adrianne Palicki to Star in ‘Remote’ from ‘ Found Footage 3D’ Director

John Wick and Legion actor Adrianne Palicki will get caught in a killer’s crosshairs in new horror-thriller Remote, from Found Footage 3D director Steven DeGennaro

Palicki will play “Jules, a woman who has been living alone in a 30-ft trailer for the past seven months,” THR reports.

The film’s synopsis: “Her only escape from the drudgery of remote-work video conferences and missed connections with her busy husband is a website where users share webcam streams of the views from their windows. When she witnesses a murder on one of these cameras, she must rely on her wits and computer skills to discover the identity of the killer before they can find her. A killer that knows someone is watching, and will stop at nothing to protect his secret.”

Roger Guenveur Smith (Bitch, Summer of Sam), Chris Johnson (47 Meters Down), Josh Cruddas (Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, Anything for Jackson) and Jessica Perrin (“Fear the Walking Dead”) also star.

DeGennaro also penned the script and produced via his The Ubiquitous Studio 42. Remote has already wrapped production and is currently in post. The horror-thriller marks the director’s sophomore feature; Found Footage 3D was released in 2016 and is currently available as a Shudder exclusive to stream in both 3D and 2D.

Cameron Burns, Ashleigh Snead, and Aaron B. Koontz of Paper Street Pictures also produce, with Charles Mulford of Impeccible Pictures and Jessica Perrin. Scott Weinberg and Josh Raby co-produce.

Stay tuned for more as we learn it.
