Fans of The Brotherhood’s 2015 psychological horror title Stasis who have been wanting the game on console will finally get their wish next week when the game launches for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch on June 26.
Originally launching on Steam way back in 2015, Stasis is an isometric, point-and-click, science-fiction horror adventure title where players step into the boots of John Maracheck. Awaking from stasis aboard the seemingly abandoned spacecraft Groomlake. Unfortunately, the reason for the abandonment has left a mess of corpses in its wake. With his wife and daughter missing, and the Groomlake threatening to crash onto the surface of Neptune, John must unravel what happened, find his family, and escape.
Mixing a gruesome narrative with retro adventure gameplay, Stasis has you doing the hallmark adventure game tropes, such as combining items, interacting with equipment aboard the ship, and solving puzzles in the midst of the gritty atmosphere.
With the success of Stasis, The Brotherhood followed up with a free-to-play prequel in Cayne, then turned to crowdfunding for the sequel in Bone Totem. Bone Totem eventually launched for Steam and the Epic Games Store in 2023, then made its way onto the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and the Nintendo Switch the following year.
