‘FBC: Firebreak’ Now Available; New “Surviving the Workplace” Miniseries Launched [Video]

Having dropped the launch trailer last week, the day’s finally come for Remedy Entertainment and the global launch of FBC: Firebreak. The three-player co-op FPS is out now for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5. And to complement the launch, Remedy has kicked off a new “Surviving the Workplace” 6-part miniseries produced by Jerry Standish, a nerdy bureaucrat from the Federal Bureau of Control.

The first introductory video is available now, and the first Job video will release on June 19, followed by a new episode each week.

FBC: Firebreak is a session-based, multiplayer PvE experience set within the Control universe. The game features highly replayable missions known as Jobs, each uniquely designed with different challenges, objectives, and environments that require teamwork and adaptability.

Remedy will continue expanding FBC: Firebreak with post-launch content, with the first content, Codename “Outbreak”, dropping this fall. All future playable content, including new Jobs, will be free. Players will have the option to purchase cosmetics, but none of these items will affect gameplay, and there will be no limited-time rotations or daily log-ins.

An FBC: Firebreak Deluxe Edition is also available for purchase, and includes includes a collection of exclusive cosmetics and premium voice packs for players looking to personalize their gear and squad identity. Base game owners will be able to purchase the Deluxe Edition upgrade separately.
